In the Fall of 1919, the Kablegram changed from booklet style to tabloid style. Normally published with four pages, the occasional issue around Alumni Weekend or Commencement would reach eight to ten pages. The cadets continued to publish the Kablegram in this style until the closing of the school in 1976.
The newspaper began with normally 15 or 16 issues being published per year. That number sometimes reached 17 issues per year in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The number of issues slowly reduced in the 1940s until there were only 12 issues yer year published in the 1950s. A further reduction in the 1960s brought the number of issues per year down to 10. In the final years years of the Academy during the early 1970s, only 8 issues were published per year.
